Depois de um período turbulento, em que ficou ainda mais escancarado o funcionamento da premiação, com os menos de 100 votantes ganhando presentes caríssimos para indicar determinados filmes ou séries, o Globo de Ouro 2023 tenta dar a volta por cima.
Para começar, eles mudaram boa parte dos votantes, prometendo mais transparência no que sempre foi uma zona cinzenta. Com isso, Isabel Wittman, uma das principais críticas brasileiras da atualidade, fará parte desse seleto grupo esse ano.
Resultado disso ou não, hoje foi divulgada a lista de indicados para a premiação que acontecerá em janeiro de 2023 e premiará as produções de 2022. Apesar de algumas ausências, a lista está longe de ser muito surpreendente ou com alguma grande polêmica, o que geralmente acontecia.
Talvez a falta mais sentida foi de “Women Talking” em mais categorias, este que ainda deve ser um dos principais candidatos ao próximo Oscar. Destaque, então, para “Os Banshees de Inesherin”, filme de Martin Mcdonagh, que liderou as indicações, com oito, incluindo Melhor Filme Comédia ou Musical, Melhor Direção e Melhor Ator. Vale lembrar que o último filme do diretor, “Três Anúncios Para Um Crime”, venceu o Globo de Ouro de Melhor Filme Drama.
Ele foi seguido por “Tudo Em Todo Lugar Ao Mesmo Tempo”, com seis indicações, “Os Fabelmans” e “Babilônia”, ambos com cinco. Todos os quatro filmes já estavam entre os mais cotados para a temporada de premiações. Além deles, vale o destaque para filmes de maior apelo popular que devem vir forte para a temporada, como “Elvis”, “Top Gun: Maverick”, “Glass Onion: Um Mistério Knives Out” e “Avatar: O Caminho das Águas”, todos indicados para Melhor Filme Dramático ou Comédia/Musical.
